Simon Wilby Initiates Newer Developments in Cell Phone Battery Research

The pace at which various institutions – commercial and academic – develop gadgetries that run on alternative energy resources have been phlegmatic over the years. Thanks to ordinary chaps like Simon Wilby, new milestones in this area of research have been achieved, thereby resulting to products with practical benefits.

Simon Wilby was able to wield the power of the sun to produce a device that gives continuous juice for cell phone batteries. Ironically, he did not undergo any formal training in the science of energy. Even so, he was able to develop a techie and ecological approach to making cell phone batteries more reliable and efficient. This, he called, The Smart One, an aftermarket product featuring a battery pack that uses lithium exon technology and a solar cell that is made of plastic instead of silicon. This solar cell provides full circuitry that guarantees to capture the rays of the sun even when partially covered.

Simon Wilby’s invention is so efficient that it can increase average talk time by as much as 300%, which means, 8-10 hours more of nonstop cell phone conversation. It also dramatically cuts down dependence on wall sockets and car chargers as it gives continuous energy boost so long as enough light sources penetrate its solar cell.

When one considers that The Smart One is both a solar charger and an excellent upgrade to standard cell phones, one cannot help but appreciate the developments it lends to the cell phone battery research.
